What are Healingsugars?

Healingsugars or Nutritional Supplements rich in Polysaccharides are, simply put, Food.

They are nutrients that we don't get in today's diet. Recent scientific research has shown that eight dietary sugars (polysaccharides) are essential for healthful cell function.

These eight essential sugars are basis of multicellular intelligence (according to Scientific researcher, Emil Mondoa, MD). Eight essential sugars, only two of which--glucose and galactose--are commonly found in our limited, overprocessed diets.

When all eight sugars are available, the health benefits can be breathtaking, says Dr. Emil Mendoa.

"The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease" Thomas A. Edison

How is this beneficial to me?

Medical doctor and Scientific researcher Emil Mondoa explains, these eight essential sugars, known as saccharides, are the basis of multicellular intelligence--the ability of cells to communicate, cohere, and work together to keep us healthy and balanced.

Even tiny amounts of these sugars--or lack of them--have profound effects. In test after test conducted at leading institutes around the world, saccharides have been shown to lower cholesterol, increase lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, accelerate wound healing, ease allergy symptoms, and allay auto-immune diseases such as arthritis, psoriasis, cancer and diabetes .

Based on cutting-edge research in the rapidly evolving technology of polysaccharides, it has been noticed individuals regain their ability to fight disease, reactivate their immune systems, and are able to ward off infection. This is an exciting new approach to health and disease prevention.

"All that mankind needs for good health and healing is provided in nature…the challenge to science is to find it."   - Paracelsus, the father of Pharmacology

1. I have tried everything on the market.

Not quite. You have not tried these polysaccharides. This comes under a new science called Glycobiology. Not just another vitamin or supplement. Glycobiology is a discipline of biology that deals with the structure and function of chains of sugars (saccharides). These saccharides are made up of monosaccharide monomers such as glucose, galactose, fucose, mannose, xylose and arabinose . We like to nickname, Healingsugars.

How are simple sugars going to help me, seriously? Did you know that polysaccharides together with proteins play an intrinsic role in cell to cell communications? They are responsible for the formation of glycoproteins, which attach to every cell wall.

Recently, US-based research scientists, discovered that proteins are used by cells to communicate. The discovery showed that each individual cell had a unique "address tag" or "zip code". The principles  discovered, turned out to be universal, operating in yeast, plant and animal cells. Through this discovery, it has been recognized that a number of human hereditary diseases are caused by errors in these signals and transport mechanisms.

It is now known that protein combining together with 8 essential sugars which are the basis of multi-cellular communication, working together to keep us healthy and balanced. The discovery of this inter-action in human health is now Mainstream Medicine

2. Is it Approved?

Fortunately not. You might be thinking, Gotcha!

Well, it is lucky for us all when a Research & Development Company, in the 80's, decided to apply to the FDA to obtain a Drug License, it did not succeed on the following counts:

A. To get Drug Approval, toxicity studies need to be conducted. Remembering, ALL drugs are toxic. The FDA requires an LD50 or "lethal dose 50th percentile". To arrive at this figure, researchers feed their laboratory animals increasing amounts of the drug, until 50% of the animals are dead. Every FDA approved drug has an "LD50" rating. In this case, not one of the laboratory animals died. Oh dear! What good is a 'drug" if it does not kill 50% of its patients.

B. The FDA will ask what is the 'label claim for benefit'. For each application, only one claim can be made.  If the Research & Development Company had succeeded in acquiring drug certification, it would have had to spend US$300 million and 10 or more years doing trials on each application it hoped to target the drug on, e.g. US$300 million for treatment of Arthritis; another US$300 million for Cancer etc. It would have increased the cost of each pill a hundred-fold compared to what it actually cost today.

$$$  "Hey, if it isn't prohibitively expensive, it cannot be much good".  $$$

Did you know that in 1998, adverse reactions to properly prescribed and consumed FDA approved pharmaceutical drugs was the 4th highest cause of death in the USA (Source: AMA, 1998). The figures are probably much worse now.

Paracelsus, Father of Pharmacology, said "All drugs are poison. The benefit depends on the dose".

Yet, when a friend or family member recommends a natural nutritional supplement, you ask, is it safe..?

3. Why is it different?

  • Well, its 100% non-toxic and has no side effects and therefore categorized by the FDA as a Food Supplement.
  • Its recognised by Harpers Biochemistry, the definitive reference for medical students and contains the latest information in the field of Biochemistry. In 1996, a whole new Chapter was added, entitled Glycoproteins.
  • Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) for Nonprescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements list polysaccharides on a number of pages.
  • Acta Anatomica (International Journal of Anatomy, Embryology and Cell Biology) featured in 1998 an article on Glycoscience.

4. It's well and good you saying all that, but my doctor won't listen

It's best to remember two things: One, if you are no expert on something, you have no business giving advice. So is your doctor, who said no, trained in Nutritional Polysaccharide technology? Two, if your doctor won't listen, find a new doctor who will. If your doctor's ego is more important than finding answers for your health, then you don't want to waste time any more with that doctor.

5. How long before I notice some benefit?

Cells in your body are constantly being born and dying. Your trillion of cells have different life spans. Some of them live for hours and some live for years, and virtually every time period in between. Examples:

Granulocytes      10hours - 3 days
Stomach lining cells   2 days
Sperm cells     2-3 days
Skin cells     2 - 4 weeks
Red blood cells    4 months

We cannot predict which cells will receive their full, necessary complement of glyconutrients, nor can we predict how many will get the glyconutrients they need with each dose taken. Nutritional Polysaccharides are food not drugs so don't expect them to work like drugs.

Additionally, according to Dr. N , there is something he calls the body's "threat priority list." This is a theory and not a rigorously tested scientific fact. Dr. N believes this is true based upon many years of clinical observation. The body will work on whatever it thinks is most important to your health. You maybe aware that various diseases can progress simultaneously in the human body, and the individual maybe totally unaware. Breast cancer is a good example. I chose that example because most people know someone, knew someone, or will know someone with breast cancer.

After breast cancer has been diagnosed, individuals will tell you that they had felt fine. They were symptom-free of the breast cancer for the 5 to 30 years it took the breast cancer to form in their body. It is possible, for example, that someone might have fibromyalgia , which they are painfully aware of. They also may have breast cancer brewing in their body. Of course, they will be unaware of the breast cancer and, because until it reaches a certain point, it cannot be diagnosed and there are no symptoms.

With this in mind, they may take Nutritional Polysaccharides daily, and their fibromyalgia will not seem to improve. What maybe happening in this case is a shifting of these  Nutritional Polysaccharides by the body to fight against a more serious foe, and little or none is helping the condition of fibromyalgia, which is agonizing, but not life threatening, condition.

The body's 1st Priority is Keeping you Alive, not keeping you Comfortable.
